- 12.2 cob x welsh mare 12yo dolly has hunted, xc, showjumped as well as been used in our riding school as a lead rein and for advanced riders a handful of times. she’s been ridden by novices and capable riders, always takes care of her rider. i’ve competed her up to 60 where she was double clear and found it incredibly easy however i haven’t stepped her up due to lack of small jockey for her. dolly’s favourite thing is jumping where she truly shines - she takes a miss and will never hold a grudge, she’s jumped every filler going including inflatables and never batted an eyelid. she is quite laid back on the flat however requires a confident rider when jumping as she picks up the pace. she hacks alone or in company as well as on busy 60 roads however needs a firm rider when alone as can try to nap home (just tries to turn around). she’s low maintenance - barefoot and lives out 24/7 in a mixed herd and is happiest this way. she loads first time everytime wether it’s a trailer or 7.5 wagon but doesn’t appreciate being left alone if travelled with something else and can be bargey. she’s fab with farrier and physio, i’ve clipped her myself but needs a dentist with a sense of humour or sedated (her or the dentist🙈) she’s up to date with physio (07/01/25) as well as saddle fitter (09/01/25) with dentist booked in end of this month 😊 happy for her to go with her bridle and extensive wardrobe please message rather than call 📞 thank you!
