Description: Smartie, Part Bred New Forest (red passport) 3yo Mare out of Buckland Skyline. Currently stands at 13.2hh. Smartie is a friendly inquisitive mare with a great attitude to work. She has been backed and starting her ridden education, proving more whoa than go. Has seen poles, logs, fillers in hand. Smartie has the potential to be a really reliable PC/Hunt pony however would also be a great riding school/hack type. Will stand all day to be groomed and bathed. Good to lead alone, in pairs and groups from field, good with sprays, dogs, farm animals and has seen farm traffic and other road vehicles such as cyclists and runners. Very bold and brave with new noises and objects. Good to clip (clipped legs out and face, bridle path etc.) Up to date with farrier (currently barefoot), vet and wormer. Good to load, travels better with another horse. Has been ridden by 13yo girl and handled by an 11yo. Due to age we are looking for experienced homes or someone that has a good support system to ensure Smartie continues her good work under saddle. Can come with tack and small wardrobe.
