- Hardest Advert ever to write. Scooby has been with us for almost 3 yrs now. He was bought for my daughter as a show jumping pony - having a lovely proven record over in Ireland as a top track pony. However, i totally over ponied my then 10yr old daughter and this lead to the both loosing confindence over time and the partnership in saddle just not working out....He is truely a gent on the ground, out hacking, at the beach - will stand for hours and be petted - good for the farrier, dentist, vet you name it, also happy to live with both mares & geldings - there truely isnt another pony that doesnt fall in love with him....but he has developed some anxiety when he goes into a ring for jumping and will chuck in a buck or rear to get you off. Therefore i wont be selling him as a showjumper and would advise against jumping him unless he is restarted from scratch. He is extremly talented and clever and is no ones fool. He is very careful when jumping and does not like to be placed wrong. Like any talented pony he has he quirks in the ring. He would make a wonderful dressage project as he loves his flat work. If i had the space to keep him - i would be! However, i do not and my now 13yr old is very tall and going to make the move onto horses early. I would not say he is a novice ride - although my other 8yr old daughter can happily walk him round bareback in nothing other than a head collar! Endless amounts of videos & photos available. He is the most beautiful looking pony :-) I paid alot more for him than im now selling him at. Home is of the upmost importance to us. Never sick or sorry - up to date with teeth, farrier & injections. Has LHC
