Description: “ Clogheen Star” aka Mossy Mossy is very sadly up for sale as my son is off to University and won’t have the time Mossy deserves. We have had Mossy for 5 years and he has developed into a special horse who is as excellent in the stable as well as when being ridden. He is mainly ridden by my son but I occasionally hack him out. We have had such fun with him. He is eager to please and enjoys life. Mossy is looking for a competent rider who is looking for their next PC or competition horse, who has the time to get to know him both on the floor and in the saddle. He has done a bit of everything. A good all rounder. Dressage, Working hunter , Team chasing, SJ but excels at XCountry. He is a machine! He has a magnificent bold jump. He loves a beach ride and great in open spaces. Happy to lead or take the rear. Enjoys hunting, the hounds and other horses don’t bother him. Safe to hack out, nothing phases him. Mossy is well schooled, very smart on the flat and has 3 great paces. He can do a lovely dressage test but as it’s not my son’s favourite discipline they haven’t done many tests. He is good to load and travels well in both trailer and lorry. Good to shoe and when having the dentist. Full disclosure of vet and dental history available.
