- Tommy Just want to say if you can’t ride him.. you should probably get a rocking horse! 16.2 15 year old bay gelding Comes with all his tack, and lovely saddle which is fitted to him Tommy enjoys hacking and will be the best and safest horse to hack and do everything with you could ever come across! Chunkier type with thick set legs and very good strong feet. My 11 year old daughter hacks him for hours and loves him, literally a pea on a mountain! (pics and vids of this can be seen) He has come from a private home with full history known, he was brought for a young girl who had him for 7 years. It was a very sad sale for her and would love to be able to keep in touch with him. Done lots of activities including fun rides, pub rides, beach rides, lessons/ rallies, dressage, showjumping, xc and odes. Hacks out alone and in company and good in open spaces he is a lovely low level allrounder and isint going anywhere in a hurry especially in the school. Hes not leg sensitive but doesnt need pony club kicking to get going he is responsive with a nice balance. Easy to ride, will step it up or drop it down depending on rider. Isn't fussed by anything tractors, trailers, tractors and big trailers, lorry’s, motor bikes, busses and isint spooky at all, probably one of the least spooky horses I have ever sat on we have had bird scarers go off and hacked past shoots without even flinching. He has hunted a good few times now, would suit more of a thruster who wants to go jump everything rather then someone who wants to bumble at the back. He steps it up a gear out hunting and is game for anything, nothing he won’t jump and will give leads. Jumped huge hedges, any rails, walls, ditches, water ect and even gates. He’s done the busiest of days out with the farmers bloodhounds with a girl who had never sat on him before. Perfect mother/daughter share. Would be good for dressage as works well on the flat. He pops a fence well and is super honest and willing and not a stopper currently competing at 80/90cm confidently not bothered by fillers, and has seen xc fences and jumped xc on multiple occasions. Easy uncomplicated ride, safe, more woah then go, not strong or sharp would suit a teen wanting to have fun or older person for riding club ect. Very happy chappy out hacking and with whatever he does. Easy to do in all ways, good to load travels alone or in company and will stand tied up with a haynet to the box at a show. Happy to go in a trailer or lorry. No vices, good to handle in all ways my 11 year old can bring him in from the field, turn him out and tack him up/groom, pick feet out and bath him. Good in the stable, to clip, shoe, bath, tack up ect. Genuinely just a lovely person to be around and loves attention and his food! No injuries, up to date with vaccinations, just had teeth done and a fresh set of shoes No lumps, bumps, sarcoids or anything, clean legs and in good health with no concerns I am based in inkberrow West Midlands Can accommodate weekday, evening or weekend viewings.
