- I’m looking for a new home for my much loved 10yo 3* mare. Potentially as a brood mare (Sirillio x Lux Z) but can be ridden. Sadly I can no longer afford the running costs associated with keeping a higher level event horse. She is qualified 3*L and advanced and was aiming for 4*s next season. Her last run out she went DC at Burgham in the intermediate but had a nosebleed and was making noise in her wind which needs investigation which sadly I just cannot afford. She also has heart bar shoes on with pads as she gets sore heels and she has yearly stifle injections. She could be a good competition horse for someone who is willing to investigate her wind and keep up with her maintenance or she would have lovely babies for someone. She would not be suitable for a schoolmaster type horse to teach someone the lower levels. She needs a professional/ semi-professional home with a rider that wants to aim to continue up the levels if she is to be sold as a ridden horse. She is currently in light work. BE name - Melda
