Description: Dark Shadow II - 5yr old - 14.2/14.3hh - green book Connemara. Shadow is a delightfully gentle soul who really wants to be your best friend. If you’re looking for something safe, reliable and a pleasure to have around this is the boy for you. This pony will 100% be a great addition to any pony club home and would certainly suit someone who likes to go a little more steadily but still wants to partake in low level competition. I do not think there is anything this pony couldn’t turn his hoof to. Shadow enjoys everything from show jumping to cross country to hacking. He has been to local shows (currently competing at 80cm) where he displays a very level head and isn’t bothered by fillers, ditches, steps, water the list goes on. He is snaffle mouthed at all times. He is an absolute saint to hack in both open spaces and on the roads, either alone or in company and isn’t phased by traffic or farm machinery etc. He is good for the farrier, dentist, vet, physio and to clip. Shadow loads perfectly on both a big lorry and a trailer; alone and in company. He travels like a dream and happily lives in or out. He stables at night in the winter and lives out through the summer in a mixed herd but causes no issues when leaving his friends. Never sick or sorry. Clean limbed. Up to date with everything. N/N hoof wall.
