- Pickles was left to mature and has recently begun his ridden education slowly and correctly, taking it all in his stride. He has been long reined in the school and on the roads with light traffic. He has recently began to take the weight of a rider which he has handled very well, however due to other commitments we are offering him as a blank canvas for somebody to produce themselves. We will continue his ridden education until he finds a new home but the price will increase with the more work that he does. He is easy to catch, groom etc and is happy living in or out. He is currently barefoot and up to date with worming, vaccs and the farrier. Although Pickles is a thoroughbred, he never trained or went into racing. He comes from impressive National Hunt lines, including Passing Glance and Kayf Tara who has sired many excellent jumpers. He certainly doesn’t behave like a ‘typical’ thoroughbred, he is so laid back and isn’t in much of a hurry to go anywhere! Given his age and inexperience he is not suitable for a novice or as a first horse for somebody. He will only be going to an experienced home. Open to vettings
