Brian is a 17.2hh ISH gelding who will be 7 this year. He has the most amazing temperament- he’s super kind and gentle and as genuine as the day is long - he’s like a giant Labrador!
Since being with me Brian has been hacking alone and in company, in front and behind, ride and lead, pole clinics, lessons, arena hires (indoor and outdoor), to the beach and out with the Bloodhounds. He is an uncomplicated and straightforward ride. He loves to jump.
Brian is perfect to catch, load and travel, with the dentist and vet, excellent in traffic and to clip.
Brian is the most beautiful and kind horse. He was purchased by his previous owner as an eventer but unfortunately despite being vetted it transpired he has stringhalt. This does not in any way affect him - he schools beautifully and has a lovely jump. The way I see it, it gave me the opportunity to own a very classy horse that I couldn’t have afforded otherwise!
Brian had the winter off and is now being professionally brought back into work on an event yard. After four months off, on the day he arrived at the yard he was sat on without so much as being lunged, ridden in the school and then taken out up the lane on his own. He has not put a foot wrong.
It has been an absolute pleasure owning Brian but after 45 years of horse ownership I am selling up and retiring from horses.
Brian will be a fabulous all rounder, hunter and best friend.
He is priced to reflect his stringhalt £7,500 Professionally fitted Kent and Master jump saddle and professionally fitted bit and bridle and rugs negotiable.
He will only be sold to a kind and loving home.
He can be seen and tried near Bourne Lincs with excellent trial facilities.
