- Approx 16.2hh 10year old TB Gelding Nicely bred, lines back to Nijinski. ROR Eligible Bert retired from racing in 2020 and has been retrained slowly and correctly by his owner, with help from a professional coach. More recently they have been training with an incredible Natural Horsemanship trainer and Bert has really started to come into his own Bert has done a bit of everything but we feel he would suit more of a dressage home. Bert has an incredible amount of scope over a fence but lacks a little confidence so would need a little work in this area, but he's proving to be a super quick learner and Could potentially be brought on to jump/event in the right hands to become the perfect all rounder. Bert hacks alone and in company. Great in open spaces. He loves a good gallop and comes back to you with ease. Hunted with the holcombe this season. Bert is a typical thoroughbred and can be sensitive at times. Absolutely no malice, just takes confidence from his rider. Hence, no novices.
