- SPEEDY SALE NEEDED Pippa is a stunning horse who has an excellent temperament and is well mannered in all environments. She enjoys being made a fussed of and loves a good groom. She has a genuinely lovely nature. Well bred by Touchdown, she has three lovely paces and enjoys her exercise. She is not a strong horse but is forward going, so an experience, confident rider is a must. She is a mare, so if you don’t tell, you don’t get! She is never nasty or malicious. She can be spooky in new environments, but will settle and become more comfortable, once trust is built with the rider. She is a thoroughly enjoyable hack, and happy to go out alone or in a group. She is happy to lead or follow, on roads and in open fields. And loves noting more than a good canter on the beach. She is used to cows, sheep and farm machinery etc. and is not fazed! She is not to be mistaken as a dope on a rope as she can be a bit sharp at times and requires a firm rider, despite this she is never dangerous or scary. Unfortunately, she cannot jump anymore, this is reflected in her price and I am happy to discuss this further. She would be best suited as a local dressage, showing and hacking horse (or any other flatwork related event you can think of - she will do it!). She always scores high in dressage and has competed in both novice level and national pony club championships. She has potential to progress in this field with further training. She has also done some showing, which didn’t faze her. Overall she is an absolute dream horse, and deserve a 5* home. She is being sadly sold, as I can’t give her the time and attention she deserves. She would best suit a competent rider who is looking for a four legged furry BBF. No novices please. She is not suitable as a ‘first horse’. She is good to shoe, clip, travel, load etc. and is well behaved on the ground and in her stable. If anyone is interested, or perhaps knows someone who may be interested please drop me a message.
