- Absolutely beautiful LR/FR Waitwith gelding
Star has not been pushed and produced at his own pace. He continues to be a fresh face to the circuit. In the ring he has mainly been contested in LR classes. I am more than happy to sell him as a LR/FR or as a FYFR to the right jockey. He went straight into a FR class with my competent daughter last year and won. His list of notable results also include:
Qualified London International LR Working Sports Pony first attempt 2023 & 2024 ✅
🥉3rd Burghley Gold Cup LR Working Sports Pony
Qualified Blair NPS Finals 2024 LR & FR 🎫
He is mainly off the lead at home and PC. He is only 6 so still a little green off the lead but will only get better with mileage. My daughter has taken him round 40/50cm indoor SJ & WH tracks this winter. He either pops little jumps or jumps big over 60+. He has scope in abundance and would do opens with a jockey able to sit his big jump. Equally he trots happily over little cross poles or up to 40cm. He still definitely gets his confidence from his leader. His ideal jockey would be a 5/6yo with a year or so left on the lead to grow with him. Or a family with a slightly older jockey to help continue his FR education. He WILL go to the top. He has no vices. His temperament is perfect for tiny tots. He’ll stand to be groomed and fussed. Doesn’t mind a little bouncy jockey. He doesn’t require lots of working in or lunging. Travels in a lorry or trailer. Loves fuss and attention. I have umpteen pictures and videos of him at home doing everything.
This is a really sad sale but we feel he would be wasted with us as he should be contesting all the LR qualifiers etc. He’s really only available as current jockey is flying and wants to be doing more 50+ PC, SJ, Nursery WHP and less showing. She deserves to be flying round cradles and nursery’s on a pony that is at the same level. She doesn’t want to do her final year of LR & no younger siblings to take the ride.
