Description: Sadly it’s time to find this wonderful mare a new home. I’ve had the pleasure of riding and competing her for her owner these last few months and it’s going to be sad to see her go! 16.1hh 5yo Mare by Comthago X Sir Shutterfly. Name ‘COMFLYGO’ Skye is an outstanding young horse who has all the scope and bravery to excel in the sport. She’s easier enough for an amateur to produce but also talented enough to go up the levels and be a contender for the age classes. A very fun and exciting mare to ride with her big scopey jump and brave attitude, never looks at a filler or stops. She would turn her hoof to any discipline. She has recently been XC schooling for the first time and did everything asked of her on the first attempt, ditches, water, hedges etc. Just went clear round her first ever team chase on 01/09! In very limited outings Skye has competed up to Discovery/1m at big atmosphere shows such as Wales Midsummer Festival and Hickstead Royal International which she took all in her stride. She’s a very level headed mare who only wants to please. No vices never bucked, reared, spun etc she’s an old head on young shoulders. She needs more ring mileage but in the right hands will go very far. Skye is a yard favourite and is good to do and handle in all ways, a pleasure to deal with and take out.
