Description
Frank is a 5yo, 16.2 Irish Sports Horse by Let the Lion Roar (TB) out of Springvale Ginger Queen (ID by Ginger Dick). Frank has been slowly and correctly produced, having been backed at the very end of his 4th year and quietly ridden away before starting his ridden education earlier this year. Frank has done plenty of hacking, and is good to hack alone and in company, he is good to do gates from and is not a spook at a leaf type. On the flat we have focused on the fundamentals and we are currently at the point of teaching him to work through into a contact, he is still green in this area and has a lot more to offer with time and strength. Over fences he has been given a good foundation and has done a lot of gymnastic exercises in the arena; he has not been over jumped/produced. He has shown a great attitude toward his jumping, and with experience and fitness has started to show a good natural jump. Frank has attended funrides and hound exercise proving to be safe and sensible. He has been XC schooling and to some SJ shows, as well as some dressage and showing classes. He has done 2 stay away camps this summer, being perfectly behaved and easy to deal with whilst camping away from home. He has also done multiple trips to the beach and to a variety of RC type clinics. He has seen a large array of fillers, water trays, ditches, steps and water and has not had an issue with anything having had the correct introduction. Day to day Frank is a pleasure to deal with, he has a fantastic temperament. He is good to shoe, bath, plait, clip, vaccinate and all the usual things. He loads and travels well onto our 7.5t lorry, with or without another horse - he has not been tried on a trailer. He is generally a laid back type, loves a fuss and a cuddle and is always the first to come over to you in the field. Frank would suit a competent amateur or equally a professional wanting a genuine and kind horse to produce on for any discipline. Only due to his age and the need to be further produced would he not be for a novice, he has been nothing but safe and sensible all year in a variety of situations. He has been produced to this point by a competent RC amateur with professional support as a summer project and it will be very hard to let him go - so serious enquiries only please! Open to vet/trainers etc.
