Description: It is with genuine sadness that I am looking at putting my boy up for sale. Ken is a really lovely and genuine type who is good to handle both under saddle and also from the ground, he is a pleasure to have on the yard and likes a fuss and attention! He is excellent with traffic, farm equipment, young children, dogs etc and will happily hack out alone and in company. After owning Ken for just over 8 months I have come to the conclusion that sadly he needs more than I can offer to him, - being an ex racehorse, he loves to work, a good gallop on the beach and equally is great in lessons and has attended some local jumping clinics, which he really seems to like! He wasn’t bought as a jumper, but he is more than capable and equally lovely on the flat. Ken has also hunted with his previous owner and a few times whilst with us, which again he really enjoys and has impeccable manners when out in the field and around the hounds etc. At this stage of my life, with two young children and other commitments, I just feel it’s unfair as I can’t offer him the time and commitment that he deserves and I need to be honest about that now. He will make the best friend to someone and he really can turn his hooves to anything! Ken has no vices and is never sick or sorry and he could equally make a good mother / daughter share.
