- Gloria is a super sweet and easy pony, great manners and can easily be handled by kids, only seen the vet for vaccinations in the 3.5 years I’ve owned her. Barefoot, good too clip. She’s the most genuine pony and doesn’t have a nasty bone in her body. We got her as an unbroken 4 year old when my daughter was 8 and she did everything herself but for us was more of a second pony. She then went on loan to teach my friends young novice son to ride and also never put a foot wrong on or off the lead rein but hasn’t done as much first pony stuff as I would have liked to call her a true first ridden. I have no doubt she will be with a few more miles on the clock though. She’s happy to pop round small jumps, up to 50/60cm is where she’s happy although we have done more. She’s always loved hacking, we have huge open fields she used to go round all off the lead rein or I would ride and lead of my horse. She went to junior camp as a 5 and 6 year old, has had a go at every pony club activity including mouted games, hunting and even pony racing (although wasn’t very fast) no matter where we went I’ve always completely trusted her with my kids.
