- If anyone is looking for a fun, pocket rocket of a pony then look no further! Hafodyrynys Cadi is a beautifully bred Welsh Section C mare. She is 12 years old and 13hh. She would make a beautiful showing pony or equally be a child’s best friend and give them tonnes of fun! Cadi is a sweet pony on the ground and in the stable. Not a nasty bone in her body, she is extremely well mannered and loves a fuss. She is fab for the farrier/dentist/vet and is good to clip and bath etc. Cadi is definitely the next step up kind of pony for a confident child looking for a second pony. To hack out, she’s amazing. Can be strong but very polite and has never bucked, reared or bolted. She just loves to go! She always puts a smile on my face when riding as she’s just so fun and whizzy. She hacks alone or in company, front or behind. Never silly in open spaces the most she does is jog but that’s not often! Just wanted to state it. Good in the school, walks trots and canters. She does love an odd jump! However the required rider will need to be confident and know how to ride to a jump. For a small pony she has a big, powerful, scopey jump on her! Although saying this, jumping hasn’t been my thing with her as I’m more focused on flatwork and hacking but the times I have jumped her she always brings a smile on my face as she’s mega!! But again she NEEDS a confident rider to get the best out of her as at the end of the day, she can be a typical Welsh. She is to come with full wardrobe. Rugs, head collars, all tack etc. Genuine reason forces sale due to me outgrowing. I’m getting a bigger horse. If only she was 14.2!
