Low mileage due to being in dressage home but keen and fast learner Easy in all ways Super fun safe hacking horse Some negotiation on price for prompt sale to fab home. Berry would suit a competitive teen or a mother/teen share where one of the pairing is already experienced at jumping. He’s not a first horse due to his big jump, though in all other ways he is super for anyone! He’d also be thoroughly happy popping round 70’s (my max height!) He deserves to be someone’s main priority, he hasn’t been mine. I bought this boy unbacked aged 9.5. He had been bought as a foal and didn’t grow big enough, so ended up being a stallions companion. He was easy to back and get started and I’ve been working with him for two years. It’s time to find him the perfect home because I want to do dressage and his passion is for jumping and galloping! Berry is a very attractive 15.1hh bay Connie x TB gelding. He is low mileage but with the stature to handle the work. He’s a lovely boy. Hacks alone or in company, in front or behind, has nannied babies during their backing process. He has lovely paces and is good in the school but just doesn’t see that circles are all there is to life! The judges do like him! Berry LOVES to jump and in fairness he’s bred to jump. His father is Thornberry. He’s done a mini ODE (I am a WIMP!) and he loved it and came 3rd. He just romped round the course, and felt so amazing. He’s been to a good few showjumping shows and a stay away dressage show along with lots of regular dressage. He has plenty of scope and would soon be ready to jump 90+ with a more jumping focused rider. Chilled about random stuff like climbing on him bareback. Perfect for farrier, I clip him standing loose in the stable, loads and travels well. Teeth are done every 6 months, he has regular physio.
