- Full Irish Draught approx 17 hh, 8 years (21/03/2017). Breeding - by King Alton out of Clonshanny Lucy, full green book. Up to date with vaccinations, due dentist end of March, has great feet (currently barefoot) and is a good doer. Loves his food! Currently lives out with both Gelding & Mare. Very sweet horse, loves people, happy to lift his feet, and stand to be groomed. Very good to work on the ground, and will walk out in hand happily. Loves hacking out with other horses, has started to lead, but I’ve never got him hacking on his own. Does nothing, just plants and refuses to move or goes backwards, and I’m not confident enough to push him on. Can be spooky and has a big spook, but has never bucked or reared. I’m too old for the big spooks now and have lost my confidence. He has done very little for his age, a couple of rides out with BHS / Endurance Club, had him away at a couple of training events. Would need a confident rider.
