- Hello we are looking for the next loving home for our 13.2 New Forest pony Moonshine who is 12 years old. It is very hard but my daughter has grown out of him. He loves being fussed over great for farrier, grooming etc. He is good in the school more a kick along type can be a bit stubborn. He needs a child who is going to give him the confidence as he will try it on and occasionally throws in the odd buck, nothing nasty. He likes jumping. Hacking he is quite anxious so again you need to be confident and he is better in company. We have not done that much with him so I think in time and patience he would get better. He is the most loveable boy and we want to find him a home that we can keep in touch with and he be loved like we do. He has had laminitis once a few years ago but not again but we do watch his grazing, he had an ulcer in his eye a year ago was treated and no other problems and he recently had his stifle joints medicated the vet said this should only need doing every year and all other xrays were fine. Just want to be completely open.
