Perfect if you want a horse that needs a quieter life but still like a bit of a horsey character to keep you awake and riding ! I would say not suitable for a total beginner but if you can ride but are not ready for a rocking horse he’s perfect ! Please no daughters straight from riding school lessons or nervous unbalanced people - he doesn’t appreciate anyone bobbling around. I’ve had him nearly 3 years and done all things RC with him- dressage, SJ, ODE and arena eventing. He’s given me my confidence back after it was shattered by my previous horse. However he is now looking for a quieter life of hacking with some schooling or dressage and pole clinics. He is nicely schooled and obedient. He would pop a log or do the odd clinic as well but be aware he likes to jump and does it with enthusiasm, so absolutely no novices for jumping. He has some wear and tear on his joints so please if you want to jump week in week out he might need some intervention . Happy to discuss vet history. Price reflects this. He hacks alone and in company with a sensible attitude will canter in open spaces and you always have brakes. I have taken him on fun rides, beach rides, all over the Quantocks and the Somerset levels. Dressage - nicely obedient, 3 forward paces will go and score a high 60s prelim test for you tomorrow and has some lateral work in place and wouldn’t embarrass you at Novice. Lives out and I will stable at night in the winter as he loves a lie down , good doer. He needs sedation to clip his legs but I can hog him and do an Irish clip including his head with no sedation and quiet clippers. Will always load but occasionally will stand and think about it for a minute - helps if you have a dually headcollar or a person behind - he’s never not loaded but you need to be patient and have some food !! Please what’s app as can’t always answer phone As new Arena GP saddle and bridle and rugs available to buy separately Jenny Winslade 07975725960
