Very sad post but we have no rider and he’s just being wasted. Popcorn is 7, 8 in June. He is a 13.1 gelding. Excellent breeding from Illybrook Stud.
I’ve owned him for 2 years. All history is known and I am in contact with his breeder & owner since then, My daughter is to novice for him. He needs a competent little rider to further his education.
He is friendly & cheeky. First to come in the field. Always in the ribbons out showing.
Fine for farrier, loading & bathing.
Clipping I haven’t done so can’t comment.
He’s green in the school, excellent out hacking will explore any terrain for hours infront or behind. Has done beach rides, collected the kids from school & loves being groomed.
The bad bits -
He can nap to his field buddies when they leave.
He’s green in the school, doesn’t seam to want to be in the school but that may be down to us not having suitable rider so options are limited and boring for him.
He has a scar on his back leg. This was from an accident as a foal with a fence, all history on this is known. It doesn’t affect him at all now.
I’m not offering him as a first pony simply because he isn’t knowledgeable enough to know what’s being asked sometimes.
We’re based in Wiltshire
