Description: Coco is a 13’1 mini cob who would suit either a petite adult (max 9.5st) or a confident child as a second pony. She would be a fantastic mother/child share. She is great on the roads with all traffic and will happily hack for hours. She has been on fun rides, on horse holidays to the beach, to forests and water complexes and is foot perfect. She has done pony club activities and is good at working equitation and enjoys mounted games so if this is where your child’s focus in pony club is then she would be great! My daughter is focused on show jumping and this is not what Coco enjoys so she can be nappy sometimes and pull out of jumps and just generally a bit stubborn but if you have a competent little jockey on her with good steering and some patience you can get round this. She is much more willing at low level XC. Everyone who spends time with Coco loves her as she is so clever and intuitive however she is a typical mare and you do have to earn her respect and trust but this is easily done with kindness and a treat! She is NEVER nasty and she has NEVER kicked, bitten or reared etc. She is a very forward little pony, not much leg needed. She will happily follow behind or be brave and go upfront past anything. She loves going for a fast canter or a gallop. She can sometimes jog to catch up which can make novice riders nervous but it’s because she only has little legs! She is safe on the ground, hacks out alone or in company. She is good on lead rein but I would not want her to be sold as a lead rein pony. I want her to go out and have fun. She loads and travels really well and is taken out regularly. Once you gain her trust which is quite easy as she will do anything for a treat she really is a special pony. She is up to date with everything, can live out all year round and is a good doer. Barefoot with great feet. Will stand all day to be clipped and good with the farrier, for dentist, to worm etc. Will come with all tack and rugs. Home more important than price. Open to any vettings.
