We have owned Henry for the last 3 years, bought for my nervous 9 year old daughter, he is now sadly outgrown.
( why do children have to grow!) Previously to us he was in the same home for 10 years.
Henry has taken my nervous daughter from jumping 30cm to 70cm in the time we've owned him, although the majority of courses have been 60-65cm.
They have competed in pony club winter league show jumping, area dressage, pony club rallies and camp, quest dressage, hunter trials, xc clinics, arena eventing, polo cross, fun rides, beach rides, working hunter and first ridden showing. In his previous home he hunted with 2 brothers.
He is great to hack on his own or in company, safe in traffic, never been sick or sorry.
He is up to date with vaccinations, brilliant to shoe, with the dentist and to clip, loads into a lorry or trailer, travels well and stands quietly at competitions. He has always looked after my daughter in busy collecting rings.
My daughter can catch, groom and tack him up however his vice is he makes faces ( which we ignore!) And isn't keen on being smothered in kisses, this hasn't stopped my daughter trying!
He is very much loved, and finding the right home for him is extreamly important to us so we are in no rush. He has given my daughter her confidence back and so many fun successful days. He would be more kick than pull, but alot of fun for a child who wants to get on and go. A 2nd pony.
Lots of photos and videos available on request. If interested please phone, I'm an NHS nurse, no surprise we are short staffed, so time is precious, would appreciate serious enquires only.
