- Peppa 12.1 Irish Pony, 17 years old • 35/45/55cm Working Hunter Season winner 2023/24 • Qualified PC Regional Dressage Championships PC70 2024 • Holcombe Hunt Pony Club residential camp 2023/24 Peppa is a sensible, fun pony club all rounder who will turn his hoof to all PC activities and loves to hack. During the 2.5 years that we’ve owned him, he’s taken my now 11 year old daughter to her first farm rides, cross country schooling, beach rides, working hunter, stay away pony club camps and showjumping competitions. He and my daughter qualified for Pony Club PC70 Regional Championships 2024 with a score of 65.8% at their first attempt at Area competition (he will be available after Kelsall champs 24th August) Peppa is fabulous to hack. Great alone or in company, excellent in traffic and through a busy village centre environment. Sensible in wide open spaces. Will ride and lead. Very well mannered to handle in all respects. Loves fuss and attention. Will stand for hours to be groomed and messed with. Good to shoe, catch, load (trailer or wagon), vet, clip, bath, dentist. Peppa is a big character and a much loved pony who is sadly outgrown. Peppa is never nasty but does need a confident rider. Although he loves to jump, he is happier over fences without fillers (to around 50/60). Needs confidence from rider round a course of fillers/bigger fences. Can nap in the arena on the flat at home with a less confident jockey, once ridden forward is no problem.
