- Pearl 10.2 Dartmoor 11 yrs old, looking for her forever home. £4,500 offer consider Full loan or LWVTB possible if local Pearl would stand to be groomed all day with a net full of hay. She loves to be pampered and loved. Could be a lead rein or help bring on a confident jockey that won’t put up with her cheekiness. She can throw in an excited buck in canter nothing that would unseat a rider. If she’s really testing you she will dunk her head to pull you forward, nothing nasty just her being lazy and seeing what she can get away with, daisy reins stopped herself from playing this game. At times she loves to play a game of catch me in the field, normally in the winter, but will come in with treats. Stabled at night as she’s a princess but would probably be ok rugged up outside. Currently shares a field with my other two mares with no drama, would be fine with geldings as has regularly travelled with them. Bare foot and easy for the farrier. Loads onto a trailer well. Has been out to many gymkhanas and some clear rounds 30/40cm does need a confident rider to help her round. Out hacking Pearl is happy on her own or with a group of horse, traffic she is not fazed by. She would equally be happy being a pampered pet. Home is extremely important to us, we would love her to go to her forever home, maybe with serval young children she can grown old with somewhere she won’t be past around.
