A quality registered Sec A who has been part of our family for the past 18months where he’s done all pony club activities including two summer camps and lots of rallies. Also local pony shows, arena eventing, SJ (40cm), handy pony, fancy dress, fun rides, and loads of farm hacking and picnic rides at home. Ridden both on and off the lead rein. Good in traffic. Used to heavy farm machinery, dogs and children running around. Very easy to ride and lead from another horse. Happy to be ridden alone or in company. Enjoys hacking and is regularly ridden in big open fields - happy to pop over ditches, logs and ride across footbridges etc. along the way.
He’s a good little jumper. Moves nicely, carries himself well and isn’t strong. Always ridden in a snaffle. Would make a nice M&M working hunter pony, fun jumping pony or hunting pony with the right jockey to produce him.
No known health issues. Clean limbs. Teeth, vaccinations, worming up to date.
He’s a very friendly character who is easy to do at home. Good with other horses. Easy to catch (always comes over to you), bath, shoe, clip etc. My children lead him in from the field and ride him bareback to and from.
This is a sad sale of a much loved pony. He has done lots of teaching young children on the lead rein but isn’t really a first ridden as can have the odd cheeky buck. Off the lead rein he would be suited as a 1.5/ 2nd pony for a confident jockey wanting to go out and have fun.
Right home priority. For the right person he is a quality pony with potential.
