Description: RIO (Coeuruno) 17h approx, 9yo gelding. Jump bred - by Coupe de Coeur (Calido I, Lincoln), out of Una II (Darco, Denver, Nimmerdor Pref). Rio is an outstanding horse with so much presence, power and athleticism. He is absolutely ready to go out and be competitive/ give someone alot of fun depending on what you are looking for in a horse. He is low milage for his age, jumping a few BS classes and having a quieter year through no fault of his own. He has great technique over a fence and very rarely touches a pole. He has 3 smart, uphill, balanced paces, is nicely schooled and would be a quality contender for workers. Has a change each way. He has jumped in some big rings (Bolesworth), and jumped a lovely clear arond 1m at Kelsall on 1/4/25 after not going anywhere over winter. He is a lovely horse, enjoys human interaction and has a happy outlook to life. A pleasure to take out (we have taken him out once in 6 months and he was golden). He really enjoys his jumping and is keen to a fence. We feel this is where his heart lies - you can see his face light up. At A.E Equestrian he is ridden both by men and women (and a competent teenager on occasion). Very handsome, rideable and willing. A special horse ideally for a competitive home. Has a mild shiver only noticeable when shoeing which is reflected in the price.
