- Castlelough Dandivar aka Dandy 4 yrs old 16.2hh Irish bred gelding Dandy is a fabulous young horse with a wonderful temperament and a very trainable attitude. He's genuinely quiet and decent in all ways. Loads of potential. He has been out to see hounds and hunted lightly. He's well behaved among hounds and the hustle of the meet. He hacks out alone and with other horses. Hes been taken to the cross country and show jumping practice and has been slowly introduced to small coloured and Cross country fences. He has worked well in the arena and shows promise as a potential eventer who will do a very nice dressage test. his paces are excellent, good stride and an armchair canter. Hes schooling beautifully Bred to compete, he is ready to produce this season. Willing and obliging nature , I dont know many 4 yr olds who will stand stock still in the middle of a field to be mounted with dropped reins on his neck , or who stands un held for his first ever clip .. Thats the kind of horse he is ! Good to box,shoe and a saint to clip. Good to catch and no tricks up his sleeve .. Just a lovely genuine horse. Viewing by arrangement .
