- Registered black Shetland mare 16 years old In previous home for five years and has been with us for 3 years. Rosie is a lovely pony and has been a much loved member of our family. I have been putting this off but realistically we need to find Rosie a home. Up to date with farrier, worming, teeth and vaccinations. Rosie would be suitable for a competent child wanting to have some fun. She’s done a lot of showing in previous home and has done a few local shows with us. She hasn’t been ridden in a while due to being outgrown so would need bringing back into work. My daughter does a lot in hand with her, she is happy to be lead around like a dog! Rosie has very mild sweet itch, she just gets a bit itchy so I have her in a fly rug that being said she has a beautiful maine and tail. She has a small static corneal lesion in her left eye which was checked by vets when she first came and has not caused any issues. Rosie had a bad start in life and deserves the best - 5* experienced homes only please for this very special pony.
