- Bonny – Your Perfect All-Round Best Friend! Meet Bonny, a 15.3hh rising 17-year-old friesian X Cob mare who is as sweet as her name suggests! She’s looking for her next best friend who loves having fun and making memories. Bonny is a true all-rounder, enjoying everything from flatwork and showjumping to galloping through open fields. She wouldn’t look out of place in the show ring either! She has a fantastic attitude, has attended a few unaffiliated showjumping events and pleasure rides over the years, which she absolutely loved. While she hasn’t done much competing due to it not being her owner’s interests, she has all the potential to go out and enjoy more. She is an absolute diamond to hack, whether alone or in company. Traffic, tractors, trailers, motorbikes—nothing phases her. She’s the type you can have a gallop on across a field, pull up, and walk back on a loose rein. Bonny has been in the same home for the past four years, with only one previous owner before that. A true low-maintenance, easy-going horse, she has happily lived out 24/7 in the summer, previously even with just sheep as companions. Since moving to a busy yard, she has taken everything in stride and settles well in any environment. She’s good to handle daily, has no lumps, bumps, or medical history, and is up to date with vaccinations and shoeing. When it comes to travelling, she has mainly been in a trailer and can take a minute to load, but nothing dramatic—she loaded fine into our 3.5t lorry despite never having been in one before. She’s never been clipped as it wasn’t necessary but she would likely need sedation for it. Bonny is a genuinely lovely horse with a kind nature—she would never kick or bite and adores a bath and a good fuss. She’s now looking for her next loving home where she can have plenty of fun and adventures. If you’re looking for a safe, enjoyable, and loving partner, Bonny might just be the perfect match!
