- This stunning horse has evented up to BE100 including being placed 1st,2nd and 3rd with only 5 outings gaining 42 foundation points and is still eligible for grass roots. He has plenty of scope and should easily go novice. With an excellent temperament and superb manners on the ground, Hammilton can easily be handled by anybody. He is good to load into a lorry and trailer and travels well. He is good to do in every way and has absolutely no vices. Hammilton is excellent to ride on the flat, he is light and responsive to the aids and is naturally balanced with three good paces. Along with his good temperament Hammilton finds dressage easy and will achieve an excellent test. Jumping, Hammilton is very brave and careful, he has been there and seen all types of show jumps and x country jumps. He’s unfazed by water, skinnies, ditches and any other type of fence presented to him you. He is easy to jump, he is honest and willing taking the rider to the fence whilst listening. Hammilton is foot perfect out hacking both alone and in company and is good with traffic and farm machinery. He’s good in open spaces and is happy to have a steady canter or just walk up the fields. He has been to various camps and has not minded staying away from home and always settled in very quickly and getting on with his job. Hammilton would be perfect for a variety of homes, to either teach a young rider the ropes or for anyone looking for a quality uncomplicated allrounder. Hammilton is based in Huddersfield.
