Description: 16.1hh, 8 year old gelding Cheng has previously raced, but retired from racing with me (fully sound, clean limbed) and took to being a riding horse unbelievably quickly! He has hunted very successfully with the Beaufort last season, crossing prime Saturday hedges, walls and timber, jumping everything I pointed him at. He stands well at the meet and never gets strong or silly in the field. He has also done fun rides, he jumps for fun - really scopey and careful, and goes in a lovely outline (and I’m certainly not the best at flatwork!!) and seems to really enjoy it too. He has definite potential to event with a bit more schooling. Furthermore he would excel team chasing. ROR eligible also. Essentially I believe he could turn his foot to anything! Perfect in traffic, hacks alone and in company, spot on to shoe, clip, load and travel. Snaffle mouthed always. No novices, and experience with thoroughbreds preferable, he’s perfectly safe but can be quirky. Will be sold with a non racing agreement. Please no time wasters, this is a very tough decision, five star homes only, homes will be vetted.
