Star is a 4 year old purebred Irish Draught gelding, he is standing at 16.1hh with more to grow.
He is a super horse, easy to ride, he has a super jump, a great flat work, he has got great paces and is a straight mover.
Star is a very cute horse, very friendly and kind, he is a smart horse, easy to ride with a soft snaffle mouth.
Star should be suitable for novice, mother daughter share or riding school, he brings lots of potential and can go far in the future.
He has a very scope jump, he is very honest and always tries his best, he has a great technique, he has jumped up to 1.10m here and loose jumps over 1.25 with plenty potential.
He is easy to shoe, box, catch, ride and in traffic, he hacks out alone or in company.
He is good in traffic and used to farm machinery.
Star is very well bred, his Sire is Cloonacauneen Grandpa, her Damsire is Young Carrabawn.
Brendan Glavin’s Cloonacauneen Grandpa (Ard Grandpa) is typical of his sire’s mould and was the second-most popular Irish Draught sire according to the 2021 covering statistics
Young Carrabawn is a quality Irish Draught stallion, by the performance sire, Carrabawn View.
He had a very successful showing career as a young horse, winning the All Ireland Yearling ID Colt Final at the Ennis National ID Show.
Young Carrabawn has already sired the Class 1 ID stallion “Carrabawn Cross”, who achieved very high scores at the 2011 stallion inspections.
Young Carrabawn is also the sire of the 2011 Ballinasloe All Ireland Filly Foal Champion.
He loves jumping, takes everything in his stride, he loves cross country.
Star is a lovely horse, he is a real sweetheart, he has a lovely kind nature.
He has no stable vices and is open for any vetting.
