Vex is a super genuine pony with a big heart who always tries hard to please his rider. He is very scopey, with a wonderful technique and rarely touches a pole. Vex has this special ability to adjust his own stride and find that 5th leg on the way to a fence. So if counting strides is not your strong point, he will get you out of trouble! With his current rider he has been out competing BS, qualifying for British Novice, and Discovery 2nd rounds and Blue Chip winter finals in 2024. He is still graded JD with only 96 points, so can still take his next rider through the levels. Has jumped bigger tracks in training and 1.30 as a single fence. Although his current rider has chosen to focus more down the show jumping path, Vex would excel in other disciplines too. He has an extensive BE and BD Quest record including a national championship appearance at Intro level. On the flat he has three amazing uphill paces with established auto changes. Natural horsemanship has played a big part in Vex's training, so if you have bridle-less dreams you are looking to fulfil, he is also the pony for this. With a bridle he is always snaffle mouthed and never strong. Super sweet character on the ground. Brilliant to clip and stands like a saint. Good with farrier. Loads and travels like a pro. Great to hack. Never sick or sorry, has clean limbs. No known medical issues (our vet history will be disclosed to buyer). Open to vetting and xrays. This is a heart-breaking sale, as he has been with his current owners for 3 years and is only for sale as their daughter is moving on to horses. Located in the South East, M25 junction 3.
