Description: Athena 14’1 class 1 (inspected) 4 year old grey mare (to make 14.2) We brought Athena 2 years ago and have brought her on slowly and correctly. She is a very sweet, kind, not Marish mare who can be turned out with mares and geldings or equally on her own. She is good to handle never kicked or bitten and been handled by young children. She travels well in trailers or lorry’s, good with vet, farriers (currently has front shoes on) and to stand being groomed or bathed. She is up to date with wormer and vaccinations and has had teeth done. She has spent the summer with my niece having the best time doing lots of things and now ready to find her new person to bring her on and take the next level next year. She has hacked out alone or in company happy to go first or last and good in open spaces. She has seen light traffic but can still be abit wary of heavy traffic. She has done beach rides, gallops, xc schooled, sj clinics where she is proving to have scope. This mare really would suit a confident child or small adult to enjoy and get out do everything next year. She did have a couple of flat lumps which we had lasered off early this year and show no signs of returning. Only the best home for this very sweet girl.
