- Our little pocket rocket! Welsh section A, 11.2hh, 16yrs old, roan mare. This little mare is game on and loves her work. She is not a first pony and needs a gutsy jockey who wants to crack on. I brought her for my confident 5 year old 2years ago and she has taught her so much and given her so much fun over the past 2 years. This pony has done everything, all PC activities, cross country, hacking, woodland camp you name it she’s done it. She is definitely more go than woah but in a safe and sensible way, she likes to keep busy. She has taken my daughter off her first ridden from jumping cross poles to jumping 70cm courses. Sadly my daughter’s interests now are with gymnastics and Poppet is getting forgotten about. She is never sick or sorry, never had lami. She is perfect with farrier, dentist, vet, to load, travel, my young daughter do all the ground work with her. She can sometimes be a monkey to catch but shake a bucket of food and she soon comes over. Poppet is very special to us and this is a very hard decision. We want to find the right home and jockey to suit so we are in no rush to find her new home. We would be open for a short term loan period with a view to buy at the end of the loan period. £5,500 including saddle, bridle and full wardrope
