Description
Broughton Molly Mae FULL up 14h 4 year old section D mare. Firstly any thoughts you have of a section D can be forgotten about as Molly is truly the easiest and quietest pony I’ve ever had in my life. She’s the complete opposite of what you think a section D mare would be. Secondly any thought you have on a 4 year old you can also forget as she has a very old head on going shoulders. She’s completely unphased by anything that has been thrown at her. She’s not mareish in any way at all. Molly has been showjumping arena eventing and hunting proving to have enough go for the hunt field but also steady enough to just jump quietly around a full 70cm track. She’s jumped a few 90cm at home just to see her scope but that Is the most she’s done due to her age and not wanting to push her too much. There’s nothing in the world that this mare is scared of. She’s more then happy to step up a pace and go like an open for myself or step right down for a nervous 9 year old. She’s a very easy mare to ride being snaffle mouthed at all times. Shes beautifully schooled, again she goes well beyond her years. My 12 year old sister has ridden her and said she was the easiest pony she has ever sat on. She has also been ridden by a 7 year old who’s been off the lead rein a few months and was walk trotting and cantering on her. Out hunting if she was 16.2 then she would be the best huntsman’s horse to grace the earth. She has done a days whipping in as such for the Albrighton and woodland and jumped logs, ditches and rails all on her own. She’s more than happy to wait and do gates. She’ll stand like a rock whilst everything leaves for you to get back on as well. She’s not got her final qualifications in the 70cm arena eventing for ACE, NPS and Eland Lodge. Molly has been ridden in a head collar bareback in a 50 acre field whilst a herd was in there and she went off on her own without any questions, through the water and even jumped the log. I feel Molly would excel very much in side white boards as she has three easy free moving paces but also a very trainable attitude with a nice strong three beat canter at only 4 years old. She has all the right aspects to go far. She really is the safest and easiest pony ever. Home is more important than price as she still belongs to the breeder
