- Placed 4th & 6th in her two eventing starts Double clear and placed at BS 1.05m XC Machine Boleybawn Blonde is an eyecatching young horse with an exciting future ahead of her. From the prolific Boleybawn stud in Ireland, she is half sister to 1.40 winner. Celtic Hero x Sweeps Blondie. Fantastic Irish breeding. Blondie has expressive, balanced paces working to a soft contact with a lovely trainable temperament. While she is a rangy horse, she has been schooled by a small female without any difficulty and does not ride big. Scoring 70% at Oxstalls ODE on the weekend. Blondie is proving to be an exceptional xc horse. Having only schooled twice, she then went to her first ODE at Waverton where she flew around clear in the time. She then stepped up to Oxstalls 90 on the weekend, again, cruising around clear and feeling ready to step up to 100 already. She is incredibly bold and brave and looks for the flags. Excellent with ditches/water/steps/skinnies etc. She has a fantastic ground covering gallop. She is brave enough to move up the levels in eventing and never says no – she goes off any stride and is very forgiving. Blondie has jumped double clear and been placed up to BS 1.05m and jumped double clear in her two starts eventing. She is extremely scopey and her technique is improving all the time. She tries hard and is completely unphased by fillers/water trays. She is easily schooling around 1.10 at home and is ready to go up the levels in SJ. Snaffle mouth in all three phases. Happily hacks alone and in company and is completely non-spooky. Blondie is an absolute pleasure to have on the yard and has a wonderful temperament. She is the kindest, non-marish mare. She is perfect to handle at home and shows. Good to load/shoe/clip etc. We feel that Blondie would make an excellent allrounder but her real talent lies in the xc phase, so has serious potential as an eventer/tetrathlon horse/team chaser/hunter. She is eligible for grassroots but would equally be ready to go Novice next season. In no rush to sell, she is a pleasure to do. Her value will increase the more she does. Has recent 5 stage vetting with x-rays.
