Description: Perfect Lead Rein or Slightly Experienced First Ridden🦄 Skype 12 years old Appaloosa 12.3hh It is with a very heavy heart that we have decided to find Skype a new best friend who she can teach and have endless fun with. Skype is a very sweet natured mare, with not a bad bone in her. No health issues other than sweet itch to manage in the summer months. She is always quiet and calm and enjoys a fuss! She will be a perfect lead rein for another little person, or a wonderful first/second ridden for a more experienced rider. We have owned Skype for just over a year and she has brought our daughter on heaps from lead rein to coming off the lead rein at pony club camp. She would need a rider who is confident to take a pull on the reins and give her a kick as very occasionally she likes to go her way not the riders way. This tends to be in the school. Nothing nasty at all, she just needs someone strong enough to tell her no! The reason we have decided to sell is only because we brought another pony from a friend which our daughter feels more confident on. And our son isn’t interested enough to justify keeping Skype until he is ready for her. We definitely wouldn’t be selling her otherwise. It’s been a really tough decision. Skype is good to shoe, load, groom etc. She does need to be sedated to clip. We have attended rallies, show jumping, pony club camp. We have not taken her hunting and I’m not sure her previous home did either. I’d imagine she would be great fun. Happy to discuss further and will only go to the right family.
