- DSH Luckey Town (Odin) has been with us since a 6 year old, he’s been a pleasure own and compete. A true character. Douglas Cavalier x Laughton’s Flight He’s a schoolmaster at intermediate level with all the jump to move up the levels. He has the scope and ability for 5*. Straightforward xc, not strong, comes back when asked. Dressage is our weakest phase, his scores do not reflect how lovely he is on the flat. He is a very careful jumper, rarely having a pole down. Would excel if he went pure showjumping with lots of wins and placings at 1.20-1.30 level with scope for more, training 1.40-1.50 at home. He is a bit quirky, needs a sensitive approach to getting on. Easily managed, I usually tack up and lead him around for 2 mins before getting on. Easy to do in every other way, not spooky or naughty. Home is of the utmost importance, this is a very reluctant sale as he is so much fun and has so much potential - only for sale due to rider stepping down Based near Lockerbie, 30 mins from Carlisle - can bring him to Greenlands Equestrian for trial if required, or potentially to Somerford Park.
