- Ultimate allrounder! Amateur’s Dream! This super smart little horse is looking for his new home where he can continue having lots of fun and bringing smiles to his new jockey! He has proved successful with everything asked of him with a great temperament and lots of ability- would be an ideal competitive grassroots horse but has all the talent to move through the upper levels if required. Shylo is a approx 15.2hh 8yr old chestnut Irish sports horse gelding. A lovely traditional Irish stamp who can turn his hoof to any job. Beautifully conformed with great feet, moves straight and correctly. A fun forward amateur ride who enjoys his work but isn’t sharp. Ideal for someone competitive coming off ponies, a mother/daughter share or someone wanting a quality horse to do grassroots/run up the levels. The type who would suit many homes to do any job! Has been lightly educated in all spheres with an amateur rider from arena eventing, dressage, riding club, eventing, pony club combined training aswell as clinics and camps. Has been ridden and jumped by a 12yr old 6 stone child who came away with a huge smile on her face. Three lovely paces, works in a correct consistent outline in all three gaits and works well from the aids without being sharp. Lovely comments from the judges about his potential in the dressage boards so could very easily turn his hoof to moving through the levels BD. Recent marks of 68%(32) in his recent tests. He absolutely loves his jumping and is a real genuine kind who wants to please. He doesn’t need a pro jockey or a perfect stride. Isn’t phased by fillers, steps, skinnies and bigger bolder fences. Has been regularly competing at 80-1m both eventing, arena eventing and showjumping with an amateur rider. He has plenty of ability to go up the levels if required with more miles so could be competitive as a grassroots prospect/move through the levels or equally a lovely fun riding club allrounder! Hacks out alone or in company and has been great with the traffic he’s seen. Very easy to have on the yard. The type who’s happy when he’s got food! No vices, will live in out, doesn’t need daily riding to keep him sane. No stable vices, lovely manners in the stable and loves a fuss. Good to box(trailer/lorry), shoe,clip,catch and plait. Currently fit out competing and ready to go out and have a summer of fun. Upto to date with teeth,vaccines,shoes ect.
