- Twin truly is my daughter’s best friend, and it is with a heavy heart that we need to move up to a bigger pony. Twin is now 18 years young but shows no sign of slowing down. He was my daughter’s first pony age 7 - she is now turning 12 . He is kind to inexperienced and younger riders, but I think ultimately a little rider with a more gutsy attitude would get the best out of him in the long run. He was produced by Amanda Gillot and has only ever had 3 owners (including us) He is such a fun ride—the ultimate pony no one wants to grow out of! He has been with us for the last four years and a bit , and in this time, they have qualified for the Bicton PC Championships 4 years in a row and competed in both showjumping, dressage and eventing. They came 7th in the 50 cm jumping. Had double clears in the 60cm and placed 10th in the PC 80 Dressage this year with best dressage at the Lark Hill Qualifier. This year, she was also placed at the Beaufort Mini PC ODE 70 cm, Hannah Francis 70 cm ODE at Nunney, and got double clear at the 70 cm Cotswold Cup ODE at Barbury Castle. Both kids have used him to do tetrathlon achieving lots of 1,400 rosetttes. India has also done really well at working hunters being placed at Frome Show, Wiltshire Show and winning at Portman Pony Club Show . When not competing, Twin is the ultimate hunting pony, he absolutely loves it and can go all day! He has also been very sweet and kind to my son Sebastian who is quite nervous and at one stage rode him a bit too. Twin has a massive fan club. He is good to shoe, clip, load, etc. He never bucks or rears. He has mild cushings, and we give him half a tablet a day. We are very much looking for the right home for him.
