- This lovely girl is looking for her new 🏡 PC/SHOWJUMPER/EVENTER/ALLROUNDER ~ Rosie (Arkan Babe) ~ 16.1hh 11YO Warmblood/TB Mare Excellent showjumping/eventing bloodlines including Kannan/Voltaire lines. full brother is competing at 2*(Arkan player) Sire: ARKAN (AES) By: ARKO III (OLD) Dam: ACCORDION PLAYER (IRE) (TB) By: ACCORDION (TB) Rosie is a true yard favourite, the easiest to do in all ways and not at all mareish. Handled by my non horsey dad, super chilled out, really couldn't care less for anything else if she has snacks 😅 She loves attention and cuddles, is so affectionate and loving. Would be well suited as a mother daughter share type or a high end riding club horse for a competent teen/young rider. Or equally could become a competitive ride for someone wanting to win! She is in regular work, and ready for her next person. She has evented successfully in Ireland as a 4/5YO at EI90/100 including a win at 100 and other top 10 placings, no reason she couldn't event again. Same home for 5 years before me, mainly competing unaffiliated. I have had her for just under a year but haven't had as much time to compete her as I would like. However, this is no reflection on her and I aiming to get her out BS in the next few weeks if time allows 🤞🏼 Schooling: She is well schooled with three impressive paces. Works in a consistent outline, is responsive and obedient without being sharp. Good transitions and basic lateral work(leg yield, shoulder in etc). She wants to please and you can feel she is a true quality horse in her movement. When she evented, she had dressage scores in the low 20s, no reason she couldn't produce tests like this again. Jumping: Rosies main love is jumping! She is confident and careful over fences, not phased by fillers/water trays etc. She is forward to a fence, knows and loves her job! If you want to school around at a sluggish canter, and push into every fence then she is not the horse for you... However, she is incredibly careful and quick thinking so if you want a mare who can give you her all, take you to a fence, and be competitive and quick against the clock, maybe she is just who you are looking for! She has mainly competed unaff in her previous home but I have registered her BS and has jumped 3/4 double clears at novice and discovery. Comfortably schooling upto 1.10m with a lightweight amateur rider, also attended PC rallies. Hacking: Rosie is excellent to hack out in company, has been hacked out by relative novices no problem. Not phased by any traffic or farm animals, previously kept on a working farm so used to tractors, sheep cows etc! She can be more spooky alone, I take her out for hours no issues through villages and on busier roads, canter over fields etc just fine, but if you are a nervous Nelly you won't get along with her alone. General fun!: Rosie is up to give anything a go and is a quick willing learner. -She has started basic liberty and groundwork which I do with all my horses, this could be progressed. -She rides bridleless with a neck rope in walk/trot/canter. -You can hop on bareback if you're too lazy to tack up. She's very comfy! -She even had a go at trick riding and was foot perfect, hands down the easiest horse I have ever introduced. Pictures from her first session ever and first time wearing a trick saddle. (Might not be of use to most people admittedly but just to show how safe and honest she is 😅) As above she is a pleasure to do in all ways, just a superstar to have around. Clips loose in the stable no bother including legs head ears, stands great for the farrier. Loads on a trailer or lorry, waits patiently at a show on the box. Lives out or in, turned out alone or in company. No known vices. up to date on all the usual teeth, farrier, vacs, worming etc etc Great opportunity to obtain an established but slightly lower mileage horse who has the looks, quality, talent and temperament to be someones special horse.
