Description: 9yo 16.2 gelding by Capri Van Overis Z Kenny would be a brilliant asset to a professional or good amateur. This is a great opportunity for someone to have a good quality horse, with the potential for the bigger tracks/eventing or dressage who may be on a limited budget. He has been produced by a lady amateur with no facilities and limited hacking and evented to 100 and showjumped to 1.15 with plenty of scope to go much further in either discipline, the bigger the jump the better he is. Before Christmas he was ready to step up, but due to unfortunate change in personal circumstances which we are happy to discuss with viewers, he was turned away and now we need to cut back on numbers. Low mileage for age, he didn’t start till early in his 6 year old year and we bought him that summer. Good confirmation, Lovely mover on the flat, good enough for pure dressage. Excellent ground manners, easy to take anywhere do anything with, clip ect. never gets excited or worked up on the box at a show and will stand all day. Hacks out alone, I don’t have anyone to ride with so I don’t know what he’s like in company, seen motor bikes and quads. Kenny is a true competition horse and he can be strong when jumping, he is okay on the flat when there’s no jumps in the arena but will tow you around a course of jumps and can take hold when there’s jumps about, needs a knowledgeable rider that knows when to let go and not hang onto him. For this reason absolutely no novices. Kenny had a successful ISLD op April 24 (he returned to jumping 1.15 following this before being turned away) and for that reason and the fact he has only just started back in to work he is advertised well below his true value.
