Description: Blaze – 4-Year-Old Bay Gelding, Irish Draught Cross Blaze is a very special 4-year-old Irish Draught cross gelding who has been an absolute joy to bring on. He’s the kind of horse you look forward to seeing every day – kind, genuine, and full of potential. From the very start, Blaze has had the most wonderful temperament. He’s easy to do in every way – great to shoe, box, catch, hack, and ride, and he takes everything in his stride. Nothing phases him, whether it’s heavy traffic or new environments. He’s got that old soul feel – calm, smart, and endlessly sweet. Under saddle, Blaze is a real treat. He has three balanced, uphill paces, with a floaty trot and a lovely, rhythmic canter. He works in a soft outline with a gentle snaffle mouth and always gives his best. There’s so much potential in him for dressage – you can really feel the quality in his movement and his willingness to learn. Jumping-wise, Blaze is honest as the day is long. He’s been jumping up to 1m at home, and he’s straightforward to a fence – no fuss, no drama, just point and go. He’s brave and careful with a lovely rhythm, and he really shines out cross country – ditches, water, banks, whatever you ask, he does it with confidence and a willing attitude.
