- Description
- Our very best boy needs to find a new home, we have owned him for 4 years, purchased straight from Ireland, he has not had loads of homes or moved around but now is the time, through no fault of his own.
We have his best interests at heart, he is wasted and absolutely love to find him a home where he is loved and enjoyed.
He is a Registered Connemara (Green Book and recorded breeding), 15.1hh, slightly dappled grey.
Well mannered to handle, quiet chap to have around on the yard, in stable, no vices.
Competed by adult, but ridden by children at home, will respond to the rider in terms of how much effort he puts in - goes up a gear when jumping, especially cross-country, where he excels - has jumped all fences, water, ditches, hedges, takes you to a fence, although careful and has brakes! If you are looking for a horse for cross-country, hunter trials etc then he is your boy. He is quiet in the school, goes well on the flat, hacks out - will go alone (but we do not hack alone often).
I would say that he would not suit a novice/ complete beginner - he has never had a non-rider on him and so not wobble tested!!
He lives out all year round, box, wash (LOL), clip, shoe, catch. No lumps or bumps, good feet. I have loads of photos/ videos etc of him, really want to him find his special person so will answer all questions - pls whatsapp for more. 12k ono
