Description: To sell or LWVTB Misty – Quality Registered Welsh Section A Pony Breed: Registered Welsh Section A Height: 12hh Type: Mare, 12 years old Performance & Training: Misty has been trimmed up as a 122 show hunter pony – although she’s just as striking when shown as an M&M. She boasts three lovely, balanced paces with straight and elevated movement. Originally bought for a novice child, she isn’t a “push button” pony and requires proper riding – an excellent opportunity for your child to learn correct riding techniques. Temperament & Versatility: While generally forgiving, she can throw a buck if she’s hassled too much, so she’s best suited to a rider who understands her subtle signals. Suited as more of a 1.5 pony for the experienced rider looking for the next step up. She needs a confident person to push her forward, however she is equally content to plod along without any nagging from the child. Misty is comfortable schooling in an arena, open field, or even on the beach. Her varied background includes hunting, show jumping, beach rides, dressage, pony club, local level showing, and WHP, all managed by a small child. She is an all-rounder who enjoys a varied life – fun and adaptable. Misty has confidently advanced her previous rider from basic riding training on lead rein to jumping 75cm and even leading off others during hacks. Easy on the ground, travels well, and will stand all day at a show. She’s been to pony camps and stay-away shows, where she was an absolute delight. Up to date with vaccinations, physio, and dental care; currently barefoot with no known health issues. Misty has been hopelessly outgrown by her current rider and is now looking for a new little person to enjoy and learn from her. Interested?
