- Stormymoore Verena is a 13h registered New Forest Mare. Dam: Furzey Lodge Daisy Chain Sire: Brookshill Mustang. Born: 02/07/17 Verena has such a kind personality, loves to please and will stand for affection all day. She has run the forest so is great in traffic, fab with both mares and geldings, donkeys, cow’s, pigs, dogs and tourists and all of their paraphernalia. Verena is good for the farrier and was an angel for her first set of shoes, great for the vet and to travel / load. Verena is still very green due to lack of small jockey, she intermittently goes back to her trainer for schooling and get’s back to it straight away. Verena is a firm favourite of ours and home is super important! If she was big enough for me to ride she would be staying here for life.
