- 2024 High Gold Premium BB Futurity Filly Foal with strong eventing /SJ lines Bonnie is very affectionate and relaxed and always the first one to go and investigate new things or people in her environment. She has been handled every day and will come up and wait patiently for a cuddle or a groom whilst she ‘helps’ me muck out. We did some in hand training and loading practice prior to going to her British Breeding Futurity evaluation last year and she was very quick to pick things up. Comments from the judges were that she is elegant, well put together and has a balanced uphill frame with good suspension. She scored 9’s for condition, conformation and her canter, with an overall high score of 8.875 Gold Premium. She will make an attractive modern eventing type or dressage horse of 16-16.2hh. The judges also commented on her confident and relaxed demeanour at such a young age. She has been bred with performance in mind and her speed and athleticism are already very visible. Living on a farm she is used to sheep, dogs and all the usual comings and goings of cars and tractors. Good with farrier, to lead, groom and catch. Bonnie’s dam Pennineview Bee Surprised has strong eventing/show jumping bloodlines. Her dam’s sire is international 4* eventer and graded SHB stallion Pennineview Silver Concorde (Concorde 1.60m, Ramiro Z 1.60m, Voltaire 1.60m, Silver Wizard(TB)) and her dam 3* eventer The Bee’s Knees V (Fulton, Java Tiger) who was on the GB Junior squad and is half sister to eventing legend Opposition Buzz. Her full brother 2* eventer is Pennineview Bee Spritely. Bonnie’s sire is AES graded young sports horse stallion Silverlinings St George (GFS Fire and Ice, Crowns Ace of Pearl, Rock King) who has passed on his exceptionally kind temperament and athleticism, together with Bonnie’s buckskin coloring. Her grand sire GFS Fire and Ice has pedigree that combines both rare Danish Knabstrupper, the highly prized Czech Kinsky Warmblood, with top performance thoroughbred and the versatile and top temperament of the Irish Connemara. His dam is by the leading sire of event horses Rock King, himself the sire of the Olympic eventer Rock Model. Her great grand sire Crowns Ace of Pearl has also endowed many of his progeny with his correct scopey jump and they are successfully competing in BE and BSJ up to Grand Prix 1.4m. Bonnie is beautiful inside and out and will make someone an intelligent and versatile partner with an affectionate and genuine character. An exciting competition prospect for the future.
